Antique hand-carved Japanese fruitwood lamp or plant table — Art Nouveau, originally retailed by Liberty’s of London
Elegant, nearly black fruitwood with refined Art Nouveau proportions. Circular top carved all over with a flowing leaf motif; the same design continues down to the twin stepped bases. Model number 281 is carved into both bases, confirming its original production run. A high-quality piece with strong, sturdy construction.
Condition
Good overall with minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
Finish shows slight wear in places but remains attractive and stable.
Structurally sound and solid; no loose joints.
