Georgian Carved Oak Coffer / Blanket Box
A wonderful coffer dating from the Georgian period.
Made from solid carved oak.
A good solid piece of furniture featuring a hinged lid.
There was once a lock which has been removed and has been historically repaired which i think adds to its charm.
The interior is lined with linen (one side has come down at the back).
Stands on four legs.
In good useable solid condition. There are small repairs near the top edge and a small chip to the wood near the top bellow the lid. See pics. Hinges are good and strong.
