George III Georgian mahogany tea caddy
A handsome Georgian-period tea caddy in rich mahogany, complete with a fitted interior featuring double compartments and lift-off lids. The inside of one lid has a colourful decoration — possibly a later addition; authenticity uncertain. Overall good condition for its age with a repaired veneer on the front (see photos). Surface wear includes scratches and a few tiny cracks consistent with age and use.
