Antique Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Jewellery Or Sewing Box
A lovely Victorian period Jewellery or sewing box.
Made from Mahogany veneered wood with a domed top.
Features ivory coloured inlay around the key hole and in a cartouche on the lid.
Inside has a pink silk lined hidden compartment which fastens with a dial catch.
Lift out tray to reveal a large compartment.
Lovely aged patina.
In used condition with surface scratches and dings. There are two chips to the veneer and a hairline crack to the base. Small tear in the silk. This is a genuine antique.
