Discover a charming piece of history with this exquisite antique nest of three side tables, available for purchase as-is. Likely dating back to the Georgian period, these tables showcase a captivating blend of intricate craftsmanship and timeless design, distinguishing them from the more common styles of the 1920s.
Each table features a stunning chinoiserie oriental design, complete with elegant figures depicted in a picturesque scene, embellished in lacquer and gold leaf on the larger tops. The small table, while simpler with a classic black finish, still embodies beauty with its floral gold leaf design gracing the bottom stretcher.
Please note that while these tables present an ornate aesthetic, they do require attention. They exhibit signs of wear including damage to the feet, glued repairs, and numerous paint chips, further compounded by substantial flaking on the painted surfaces. The smallest table is missing a foot, presenting an opportunity for the discerning buyer to restore these treasures to their former glory.
Dimensions:
- Large Table: 47 cm wide, 31 cm deep, 64 cm high
- Medium Table: 41 cm wide, 29 cm deep, 61 cm high
- Small Table: 36 cm wide, 28 cm deep, 59 cm high
Ideal for those with an appreciation for antique furniture, this nest of tables can serve as functional side accessories or a project for a professional restoration. Embrace the opportunity to own a piece of history that tells its own story.
