Antique late Victorian satinwood chest of drawers
A refined late Victorian satinwood chest of drawers, offered in very good condition. This versatile piece is available with either two short over two long drawers, each fitted with ornate brass handles. The drawers are lockable; the lock mechanisms remain but the key is missing.
The top originally carried a built-on mirror which has since been removed. The small round fixing holes where the mirror was attached have been professionally filled. There are light surface marks on the top and in the area where the mirror once sat, together with minor surface scratches consistent with gentle use and age.
