Antique 18th‑Century Oak Coffer Chest — Georgian, Smaller Size
A charming smaller-sized oak coffer chest dating from the Georgian period. The three-panel top opens to a well-proportioned interior; the front carries carved decoration that shows attractive age and character. The oak has developed a wonderful, rich patina and color over the centuries.
Condition
Good overall condition for an 18th‑century piece.
Surface scratches, small chips, and areas of discoloration consistent with age and use.
One area on the front carving is noticeably lighter in color.
Original (old) hinges and fittings present.
Strong and sturdy construction.
