Antique 19th Century Victorian Brass Bound Camphor Wood Campaign Chest
A decorative antique storage chest. Originally a campaign chest.
Date c1840 Victorian period.
Made from a warm coloured camphor wood with decorative brass detail in the centre.
Brass banding around the edges and the sides.
Two brass carry handles at each side.
Original brass lock - missing key.
Inside is clean and has its original candle box with hinged lid.
Overall good antique condition. There has been some cracks to the lid which has been previously covered with brass studs. Small areas of further damage to the lid see pics. General age related wear including marks and scratches.
