Vintage 1940s–50s Goldtone Powder Compact Set — comb in metal case & lipstick
A charming mid-century vanity set in warm goldtone, comprising a powder compact with original puff and sifter, a metal-cased comb, and a lipstick. A desirable piece for collectors or those creating a period dressing table display.
Condition
Compact: Unused. Original powder puff and sifter still intact and tacked in place. Mirror is clear with good reflection. Light age-related surface marks consistent with storage and gentle handling.
Lipstick: Partially used; remaining product visible in tube. Tube shows light wear commensurate with age.
Comb (metal case): Present and in sound condition with minor surface wear and light scuffs.
Fitted cardboard box: Original but worn; edges reinforced with cellotape. Box shows age-related discoloration and softening at corners.
