The rigid lid, handle and clasp are molded from clear lucite; the top has been hand-painted with a delicate floral motif and features a small pearl butterfly and tiny rosebud embellishments (one rosebud missing). The body is constructed from a thick cream woven Corde, solid and well-preserved, sitting on a wooden base with small feet. The interior is lined in quilted pink fabric.
